Why people use Answerjanch
Mains is won on answer writing, and answer writing improves only with feedback. Test-series evaluations take a week or two to come back, often with a number and two lines of comments; mentors are expensive and stretched; and writing every day without feedback just practises the same mistakes. Hindi-medium aspirants have even fewer options. Answerjanch evaluates your answer the way an experienced Mains evaluator reads it: does it address the exact demand of the directive word, is the introduction relevant, does the body cover all dimensions (political, economic, social, ethical, environmental, international - as the question needs), are there examples, data, committee reports, cases and constitutional provisions, is it within the word limit, and does the conclusion look forward? You get a realistic mark, line-level feedback, the dimensions you missed, a model answer structure, and one thing to fix tomorrow. In English or Hindi, in seconds, every day.
- ✓ A realistic mark out of 10 or 15 (or Essay out of 125), with the reasoning
- ✓ Demand of the question: did you answer 'critically examine' or just 'describe'?
- ✓ Structure check: introduction, body with sub-headings, conclusion, flow, word limit
- ✓ Missing dimensions, examples, data, reports (ARC, Law Commission, NITI Aayog), SC judgements and articles you could add
- ✓ A model answer outline and a rewritten introduction and conclusion
- ✓ English and Hindi medium; GS I-IV, Essay, Ethics case studies
- ✓ Daily practice with a timer and word counter; unlimited evaluations on a monthly pass

Frequently asked questions
How accurate are the marks?
They're calibrated to how UPSC actually marks - good answers usually get 4-6.5 out of 10 and 6-9 out of 15 - and the feedback explains the reasons. Treat them as a mentor's estimate, not an official score; use the feedback to improve the next answer.
Can I get evaluation in Hindi?
Yes. Choose Hindi as the feedback language: you get the evaluation and model answer outline in Hindi, with standard Hindi-medium terminology. You can write the answer in Hindi too.
What about handwritten answers?
For now, type your answer as you wrote it, describing diagrams in brackets. Typing it out takes a few minutes and the evaluation reads the content, structure and coverage just like a written copy.
Does it cover Ethics case studies and Essay?
Yes. Case studies are evaluated on stakeholders, dilemmas, options, the chosen course of action and the values shown; essays on thesis, dimensions, examples, coherence and balance.
How is this different from a test series?
A test series gives you a structured schedule and a rank among peers; its evaluations take days. This gives you instant, detailed feedback on every answer you write, every day. Many aspirants use both: test series for full tests, this for daily practice.
What does it cost?
Two evaluations a day are free. A 30-day pass (₹299) gives unlimited evaluations and daily practice sessions (fair use). No auto-renewal.
